Hi! Welcome to Bourne4Homeschool!
We have homeschooled since Pre-K for my eldest, which makes this our sixth year homeschooling.
Bourne4Homeschool was inspired by my dear friend and sister-in-law. She was an elementary school teacher before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She is a few years ahead of me in homeschooling, and I am constantly calling and texting her for help, information, troubleshooting tips, and sometimes just encouragement!
I began to wonder, “What in the world do other people do? The people who don’t have their own personal homeschool guru?”
I started Bourne4Homeschool as a community of people who are committed to encouraging and supporting one another in their homeschooling adventure!
This is not a faith-based community, however, I will discuss my faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior from time to time, as this is a very integral part of who I am. If this would turn you off, Bourne4Homeschool may not be the right fit for you. However, I want this to be a safe place for friends of all faiths to encourage and support one another while homeschooling.
